
February 22, (THEWILL) – The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has suspended train services in the country to enable Nigerians to participate in Saturday’s presidential and national assembly elections.
A statement issued on Wednesday, by the Corporation’s Deputy Director of Public Relations, Yakub Mahmood, said Train services will be temporarily suspended from February 25 to February 27, 2023.
According to Mahmood, Services will be temporarily suspended on Abuja–Kaduna, Warri–Itakpe, Lagos–Ibadan, and the Iddo Lagos-Ijoko train services.
The Corporation, however, assured the public that normal train services will resume on Tuesday, 28th February, 2023.
