May 04, (THEWILL) — Africa Prudential Plc has introduced Sabivest, a digital shareholder and investment management app designed to make it easier for Nigerians to access, track, and grow their investments.
Unveiled on April 30, 2026, at a high-level event in Lagos, the launch comes amid increasing demand for digital financial solutions and improved participation in Nigeria’s capital market. The company said the platform allows users to manage multiple shareholdings from a single interface, offering a more seamless and transparent portfolio management experience.
The chairperson, Christabel Onyejekwe, described Sabivest as a significant step toward building a unified investment ecosystem. She noted that the platform enables individuals and institutions to access, monitor, and grow diversified financial assets conveniently in one place, marking a major milestone for the company.
The Managing Director, Catherine Nwosu, explained that Sabivest was developed to address persistent challenges faced by investors, particularly in emerging markets. These include fragmented accounts, limited access to investment options, poor visibility of portfolios, and difficulties tracking dividends and corporate actions.
According to her, the app aggregates multiple investment products and services into a centralised dashboard, giving users real-time visibility and control over their assets. Key features include a consolidated portfolio view, real-time performance tracking, asset allocation insights, e-dividend management, and access to an investment community. It also offers dividend tracking, notifications, historical records, and recovery support to help users manage unpaid or unclaimed dividends more efficiently.
The launch event featured a roundtable discussion with industry stakeholders, who highlighted the importance of technology, collaboration, and trust in driving growth within Nigeria’s capital market.
The introduction of Sabivest reflects the broader shift toward digitisation in Nigeria’s financial services sector, especially as retail and diaspora investors seek more accessible and transparent investment options. The app is now available for download on iOS and Android platforms.
