August 10, (THEWILL) – Super Eagles, Ahmed Musa, has donated the sum of N500,000 to Kannywood veteran actor, Baba Karkuzu.
Musa, who gifted the actor money also promised to buy him a house worth N5 million.
Karkuzu made his challenges known while soliciting financial assistance from the general public.
According to him, his health has deteriorated to the extent that he is now blind. He also disclosed that the house he lives in has been put up for sale.
“I am now blind as I am talking to you. I seriously need financial assistance. I don’t have food to eat and feed my family.
“The house I have been living in is now for sale. If they sell this house, I don’t know where to go. That is why I am soliciting help from well-meaning Nigerians to come to my aid. At least, Nigerians should help me buy this house I am living in.”
Musa was touched by the actor’s situation and he contacted him to give him the money. He also told him to look for a house and promised to buy it for him.
“I spoke to Baba Karkuzu over the phone and I sent him N500,000. After that, I told him to find a house worth 4 million to 5 million naira and I will buy it for him. From here, we will see how I can help him more,” Musa revealed.
