
June 03, (THEWILL) – The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), on Friday, quizzed the immediate past Minister of Women Affairs, Pauline Tallen, over alleged money laundering.
Though details of the development are sketchy, a reliable source familiar with her case said the former Minister was being investigated over the alleged diversion of N2 billion from the African First Lady Mission project.
According to the source, Mrs Tallen arrived at the Abuja Zonal Command of the Commission at Wuse 2 on invitation at 12pm on Friday.
Spokesperson of the anti-graft agency, Wilson Uwujaren, could not be reached for confirmation.
