BEVERLY HILLS, October 19, (THEWILL) – Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State on Wednesday carried out a cabinet reshuffle as he sacked the commissioners for Tourism, Mr Folorunsho Folarin-Coker; Finance, Dr. Mustapha Akinkunmi; and Transport, Dr. Ekundayo Mobereola.
This was contained in a statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Tunji Bello, which added that Ambode directed that his Special Adviser on Arts and Culture should take over as the Acting Commissioner for the Ministry of Tourism and Culture.
While the Special Adviser on Transportation takes over as the acting Commissioner for Transportation, the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Finance would act as the Commissioner for Finance, pending the appointment of new commissioners in the respective ministries.
No reason was given for the decision, but the Governor thanked the former Commissioners for their service to the state, wishing them well in their future endeavours.
