May 18, (THEWILL) – The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has announced a revised timetable and schedule of activities for its presidential, governorship, senate, national, state assembly primaries and their Appeals.
This was disclosed in a press release of the adjusted Timetable of schedule of activities of the party’s 2023 primary elections, signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Barrister Felix Morka.
Accordingly, the Governorship and House of Representatives Primaries will be held on Thursday, 26th May, 2022, while the Senate and State Assembly Primaries come up the following Day, Friday, May 27th, 2022.
Morka said the Appeals for Governorship and House of Representatives Primaries will be held on the same day, Friday, 27th, while the Appeals for Senate and House of Assembly comes up Saturday, 28th May, 2022.
The statement further disclosed an adjustment of the party’s special Convention and presidential primaries, which will now be held on Sunday, 29th through Monday, May 30th, 2022.
Meanwhile, Morka has denied reports that the party had zoned its presidential and vice presidential tickets to North East and South East geopolitical zones respectively,
He added that whenever the party takes such a far reaching decision, it will be made Public.
Morka equally denied the rumoured return of the APC Presidential Form by former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, stating categorically that he is not aware.
