This was contained in a statement issued on Friday, in Abuja, and signed by the party’s Acting National Secretary, Barr. Festus Fuanter.

The new dates for the meetings were fixed following the recent resignation of the former National Chairman of the party, Senator Abdullahi Adamu and former Secretary, Senator Iyiola Omisore.

THEWILL recalls that the leadership of the party had postponed the caucus and NEC meetings initially scheduled to hold 10th and 11th of July respectively to allow President Bola Tinubu to participate.

However, the meetings, which were rescheduled to hold on 18th and 19th of July, 2023, were again postponed following the resignation of Adamu and Omisore.

The NEC is expected to announce the immediate past Governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje, as the acting National Chairman of the party.
