SAN FRANCISCO, July 12, (THEWILL) – The militant group, Niger Delta Avengers, NDA, says it has blown up a crude oil pipeline operated by ExxonMobil, wondering when oil companies will learn to heed its warning that there should be “no export”.
The militia group, which has claimed responsibility for various sabotage of oil facilities, disclosed through its spokesman, Mudoch Agbinibo, that the Qua Iboe 48-inch crude oil export line was attack by its strike force on Monday night.
Agbinibo, in a terse statement published on the group’s website, said: “At about 7:30pm the Niger Delta Avengers blow up ExxonMobile Qua Iboe 48″ crude oil export pipeline.
“When will these International Oil companies (IOC) learn to listen. We (Niger Delta Avengers) said no export.”
