This brought her to the attention of record executive, Don Jazzy, who signed her to his record label, Mavins.
The rising star recently shared a heartwarming revelation about her early years, highlighting her humble beginnings and the journey to stardom. In an Instagram story, she opened up about her past, revealing that she used to sell vegetables and fruits before.
Ayra Starr expressed deep gratitude for the journey she has traversed, acknowledging the immense blessings that have come her way. She revealed that six years ago, she would lend her voice in song to customers who visited her grandmother’s vegetable and fruit stand.
“I will forever be grateful for where I am in life. God really blessed me,” she wrote, reflecting on her progress. “6 years ago, this used to be me selling vegetables and fruits with my grandma, singing for whoever wanted to hear me. Now people are paying to watch me perform.”
