February 25, (THEWILL) – Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Limited (BASL), operator of Murtala Muhammed Airport Terminal 2 (MMA2), has restored normalcy following a temporary water leakage at the terminal’s ticketing hall on Tuesday.

In a statement signed by its Head of Corporate Communications, Ajoke Yinka-Olawuyi, BASL attributed the incident to an unusual combination of heavy rainfall and abnormal wind patterns, which directed water toward previously unaffected structural areas.

Yinka-Olawuyi explained that the pressure created by the intense downpour forced rainwater through weatherproofing systems that had previously performed effectively.
