August 22, (THEWILL) – Big Brother Naija All Stars housemate, Cross Okonkwo, has ended his friendship with his fellow housemate, Pere Egbi.
His decision to terminate his friendship with Pere was prompted by what he heard from Cee-C about his friend, as regards loyalty and intention.
The two had a private conversation where Cross informed Pere that Cee-C told him that Pere wouldn’t stand up for him if he wasn’t present in the reality show.
Cross gave another instance to show why he can’t trust Pere again. He cited Pere’s response when other housemates found Ilebaye’s items on the floor.
Pere had stated that IIebaye’s items should be left on the floor where they were, and to Cross, such an attitude created doubts in his mind that Pere might do such a thing to him as well.
Pere tried to reassure Cross of his loyalty and advised him not to easily believe the narratives being circulated by the other housemates.
He suggested that the words of other housemates may not be trustworthy and that they might be intentionally attempting to create a rift between them.
Despite Pere’s assurance, Cross still stated his reservations openly, citing allegations made by other housemates such as Doyin, Ilebaye, Seyi, and Kiddwaya, all of which pointed to the fact that he is not loyal to his friends.
Cross informed him that it would be best to end their friendship.
