May 28, (THEWILL) – Afrobeat singer, Seun Kuti, has stated that his experience in prison is better than frolicking with politicians.
The singer made this known while recalling his experience in prison.
The father of one was detained for days before he was released after being charged with allegation of assault on a police officer.
He jetted out for his Europe tour following his release on Tuesday night after much effort by his lawyers.
Taking to his Instastory, he penned a short note about his experience while taking a swipe at politicians.
He revealed that he was made to sleep on the cold floor with other prisoners but despite his experience, he still prefers it to sitting down with politicians.
“Dem put me for hard cold floor, in the midst of prisoners, still better than sitting in the devil’s house with politicians,” he wrote.
