BEVERLY HILLS, March 16, (THEWILL) – The High Court in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Monday approved Chief Victor Giadom as Acting National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
Giadom, the party’s Deputy National Secretary, who is the highest ranking official, has been leading the party since the High Court in the FCT ordered Comrade Adams Oshiomhole to vacate office as National Chairman following his suspension by the party in Edo State, his home state.

THEWILL had previously reported exclusively that President Muhammadu Buhari had withdrawn his support for Oshiomhole and tacitly encouraged his ouster following his poor management of party affairs. Buhari is scheduled to attend the NEC meeting.
The Court of Appeal Monday said a panel of justices would be reconstituted to hear Oshiomhole’s appeal of the order removing him from office.
President Muhammadu Buhari after meeting with governors elected on the platform of the APC Monday approved the postponement of Tuesday’s scheduled meeting of the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC).
