February 14, (THEWILL) – Second Republic Senator and one of President Muhammadu Buhari’s closest allies, Senator Abba Ali has been killed in a freak road accident in Saudi Arabia, according to multiple sources with knowledge of the incident.
The sources told THEWILL that the Katsina born businessman, who served as Senator between 1979-1983, was hit by a vehicle on Tuesday afternoon and was confirmed dead at a local hospital.
Details of the incident remained sketchy as at the time of writing.
Senator Abba Ali was born on January 7, 1940.
