BEVERLY HILLS, March 16, (THEWILL) – President Muhammadu Buhari Monday hosted the state governors elected on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, to a meeting ahead of Tuesday’s National Executive Council (NEC) meeting of the party, where the leadership crisis rocking the APC will be deliberated on and resolved.
The meeting was still ongoing as at the time of filing this report.

Tuesday’s NEC meeting is expected to ratify the suspension of embattled chairman of the party, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, who was ordered to step down by the FCT High Court following his suspension by the Edo State chapter of the party.
Support for Oshiomhole is split amongst the governors with majority demanding his ouster.
THEWILL had previously reported exclusively that the President had withdrawn his support for the politician and approved his ouster only through legitimate and legal means.
