
January 13, (THEWILL) – President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived in Ogun State on a one-day working visit, where he is expected to commission projects embarked upon by Governor Dapo Abiodun’s administration.
The plane that conveyed the President touched down at the Presidential Wing of the Murtala Mohammed airport, Ikeja, Lagos at 09:15 GMT.
From there, he was immediately airlifted via a helicopter to Sagamu, Ogun State.
The President, who arrived at the state at exactly 10:39am, was received by the State Governor Dapo Abiodun, his counterpart from Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the National Caretaker Committee Chairman of All Progressives Congress, Mai Mala Buni, amongst others.
Shortly after landing at Sagamu, the President inaugurated the Gateway City gate and the 42km Sagamu Interchange–Abeokuta dual carriageway, on which he drove to Abeokuta the State capital
He will also inaugurate some key projects executed by the Dapo Abiodun led administration before later travelling back to Abuja at the end of his official engagements in Ogun.
