September 11, (THEWILL) – President Muhammadu Buhari has mourned the passing of a “diligent and committed officer”, Col. Abdulazeez Sabo Aliyu, who was Commander of the Guards Brigade (then known as Brigade of Guards) from 1984 to 1985.
The President, on Sunday, recalled the departed officer’s sense of duty and professionalism.
He, however, commiserated with his family, former colleagues, and all those mourning him.
President Buhari also wished Col Aliyu eternal rest and divine comfort for his family.
