Buhari Presides Over Valedictory Session Of FEC Meeting At Villa

May 24, (THEWILL) – President Muhammadu Buhari is currently presiding over the valedictory session of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Vice President Professor Yemi Osinbajo and all 44 ministers and ministers of state are physically in attendance.

President Buhari has also sworn in six federal commissioners of the Revenue Mobilisation Fiscal and Allocation Commission (RMFAC).

The six Federal Commissioners include Senator Ayogu Eze (Enugu), Peter Opara (Imo), Hauwa Umar Aliyu (Jigawa), Rakiya Tanko Haruna (Kebbi), Ismail Mohammed (Kwara) and Kolade Abimbola (Oyo).

Buhari is also expected to officially dissolve the cabinet, after which each minister will give an opportunity for speeches and encomiums.

After the official cabinet dissolution, the ministers are expected to hand over to the permanent secretaries in their respective ministries.
