Market capitalisation opened the session at ₦152.728 trillion and rose significantly to close at ₦155.994 trillion, reflecting renewed investor appetite for equities.
Similarly, the All-Share Index (ASI) advanced from 237,205.59 at the start of trading to 242,277.81 at the close, underscoring the strong upward momentum recorded during the session.
Market breadth closed positive, with 46 gainers against 40 losers, highlighting the dominance of buying activity across several sectors of the market.

CAP gained strongly by 10.00 percent, (rising from ₦132.00 to ₦145.20).
FTNCOCOA appreciated by 10.00 percent, (moving from ₦5.00 to ₦5.50).
UACN advanced by 10.00 percent, (increasing from ₦165.00 to ₦181.50).
UNILEVER climbed by 10.00 percent, (up from ₦125.00 to ₦137.50).
SEPLAT rallied by 10.00 percent, (rising from ₦10,450.00 to ₦11,495.00).
Top Losers
ALEX declined by -9.95 percent, (dropping from ₦10.55 to ₦9.50).
ROYALEX fell by -9.93 percent, (easing from ₦1.51 to ₦1.36).
LEGENDINT shed -9.32 percent, (slipping from ₦5.90 to ₦5.35).
AUSTINLAZ lost -9.12 percent, (declining from ₦3.73 to ₦3.39).

Meanwhile, several stocks closed flat, indicating prices remained unchanged at the end of the trading session. These include Dangote Cement Plc, Custodian Investment, Julius Berger, Golden Guinea Brewery, African Alliance Insurance, Unity Bank Plc, among others.

The surge in counters such as CAP, UACN, UNILEVER and SEPLAT reflected renewed confidence among market participants, while profit-taking activities in a few mid-cap stocks moderated the overall advance.
