BEVERLY HILLS, January 11, (THEWILL) – The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Mr. Godwin Emefiele in a press conference Monday confirmed that customers can now pay foreign currencies in cash into their bank accounts as exclusively first reported by THEWILL.
The CBN also formally announced that it would no longer sell forex to BDCs.
It issued a statement and circular to that effect.
