April 28, (THEWILL) – Controversial singer cum activist, Charles Oputa, aka Charly Boy, or Area Fada, is set to hold a thanksgiving service for surviving prostate cancer.
A few weeks ago, Charly Boy shared his battle with prostate cancer. He shared a video of himself being wheeled out of the theatre and thanked his doctor for taking good care of him.
The singer took to Instagram to share the news about his thanksgiving ceremony coming up.
He posted details of the ceremony which will take place at the Church of Assumption on Saturday, April 29th at 12 noon.
He accompanied the flier with a short message.
“I dey go thank God for sparing my life, from Prostrate Cancer.
“Hopefully, my instrument go begin function again, I go let una know because I go do another thanksgiving for dat one.”
