June 13, (THEWILL) – Ekiti State-born chef, Damilola Adeparusi, has surpassed Hilda Baci’s 100-hour Cook-a-thon record.
The chef, on Tuesday, shared the new record on her Instagram page while celebrating the feat.
Adeparusi started her 120 hours cook-a-thon on June 9, 2023.
She became a cynosure in a viral video after she reportedly completed 15 hours out of the 120 hours earmarked for the cooking.
While some naysayers criticised her for attempting to break Hilda’s Guinness World Record, some people showered praises on her for believing in herself.
