Concern As INEC Fails to Begin Uploading Presidential Election Results

INEC

February 25, (THEWILL) – Seven hours after the official closing of the Presidential and National Assembly Elections, which held nationwide on Saturday, Nigerians are beginning to wonder why the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). has not uploaded any unit result of the presidential election on its viewing portal .

Nigerians have seen the uploading of results of the House of Representatives and the Senate elections held at the same time on the INEC Portal but are worried that INEC has failed to post that of Presidential elections.

Most of the people who spoke to THEWILL raised concern that, this is contrary to what INEC has promised Nigerians that as soon as an election is concluded in a polling unit and they are counted, it will immediately be posted on its viewing portal for all Nigerians to see and bring credibility to the election process .
