May 17, (THEWILL) – Gifts have been pouring in for Nigerian chef, Hilda Bassey, aka Hilda Baci, barely 24 hours after breaking the Guinness World Record for the longest hours of cooking.
A real estate firm, In-Motions Business Limited, gave Baci a plot of land located in Wana Court Green Estate, Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital.
Managing Director of the firm, Mr Gideon Ekanem, announced the donation in a statement on his Twitter handle, noting that the now popular Nigerian Chef is worthy of the land gift because she has become a uniting force in Nigeria.
Dana Air also gifted Baci with one year of free tickets for all her domestic travels as a way of supporting her after surpassing the longest cooking marathon by an individual.
The airline also gave Baci’s mother three months of free flight tickets.
In a statement released by the airline, Baci was congratulated for her feat and the free tickets were also offered to her.
ValueJet, another reputable airline in Nigeria has also gifted the chef six months free tickets to any of its destinations.
The airline took to its Twitter handle to announce the good news on Monday.
According to the airline, it is believed that the free ticket support will strengthen Baci even more as she accomplished the world record for herself, her country and the millions of women she inspires every day.
