Siminalaye Fubara

November 04, (THEWILL) – The Federal High Court, Port Harcourt, has dismissed a suit seeking to disqualify the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Siminalaye Fubara, from contesting the 2023 elections.

Fubara had emerged as the gubernatorial candidate of the PDP during its governorship primary in May.

But one of the guber aspirants of the party, Morgan West, had challenged Fubara’s candidacy, alleging he (Fubara) was not a member of the party and did not have a valid PDP membership card, among other issues.
