SAN FRANCISCO, June 27, (THEWILL) – A Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State to immediately vacate office for submitting false information to his party, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for the party’s December 2014 governorship primary election.
The presiding judge, Justice Okon Abang, in a judgment delivered on Monday, directed the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to promptly issue a certificate of return to the plaintiff, Uche Ogah, who polled the second highest number of votes in the primary.
