SAN FRANCISCO, May 22, (THEWILL) – Governor Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa State has been elected chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum.
The forum is made up of governors elected on the platform of the main opposition party.
Dickson succeeds Governor Ibrahim Dankwambo of Gombe State, whose tenure as governor ends on May 29th.
Dankwambo who announced Dickson’s election during a chat with journalists after the meeting of the governors said the group wants President Muhammadu Buhari to address the insecurity in the country.
