BEVERLY HILLS, July 8, (THEWILL) – Rev. Yusuf Magaga, Senior Pastor of the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA), Kabene-surubu village in Kauru local government area of Kaduna State has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen.
Reports indicate that the clergy was kidnapped in the church premises at about 2:00am on Wednesday when the village was attacked by unknown gunmen.
THEWILL gathered that the attack could have been worse but for the intervention of the local vigilantes who quickly mobilised and saved the situation.
The gunmen, who also destroyed part of the church and left some persons injured, have demanded N2 million ransom for their victim’s family.
Police Public Relations Officer, Kaduna, ASP Aliyu Usman is yet to speak on the incident.
