Professor Christopher Ogiehor has been gruesomely murdered in his Benin City residence by yet to be identified person(s).
Ogiehor, 80, an Orthopaedic Surgeon, was until his killing, the Medical Director of City Clinic in the Edo State capital.
Reports said he was found dead Thursday with a cracked head and tied hands tied at his residence – No. 13, Egbor Avenue in the Government Reservation Area (GRA) area.
Edo police spokesman, DSP Chidi Nwabuzor, confirmed the murder and said an investigation has been launched.
