BEVERLY HILLS, August 25, (THEWILL) – Edo State Deputy Governor, Comrade Philip Shaibu has submitted a petition to the Nigeria Police Force and the Directorate of State Security (DSS).
According to Shaibu, the former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Adams Oshiomhole and the APC governorship candidate, Osagie Ize-Iyamu are plotting to unleash mayhem in the state, ahead of the September 19 governorship elections.
The Deputy Governor noted that it became imperative for him to do a petition because of the claims that the duo intend to attack his convoy. Philip Shaibu urged Parents and guardians to caution their children and wards against being used to perpetuate electoral violence.
