
June 01, (THEWILL) – A former governor of Ekiti state, Kayode Fayemi, was on Thursday, subjected to intense questioning at the office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
According to TheCable, Fayemi was grilled at the zonal command of the anti-graft agency in Ilorin, Kwara state capital.
The former Governor, who arrived at the EFCC facility on Thursday morning, was questioned over alleged misappropriation of N4 billion during his tenure as governor.
When contacted, Spokesperson of the anti-graft agency, Wilson Uwujaren, declined comment on the development.
