THEWILL reports that Emefiele, who is currently being remanded at the Kuje Correctional Centre, was on Wednesday, November 22, granted bail in the sum of N300 million.

Ruling on his bail application, Justice Hamza Muazu, directed Emefiele to deposit all his travel documents with the court while he produced two sureties with landed properties in Abuja.

Restricting Emefiele’s movement to the court’s jurisdiction, Justice Muazu ruled that he must obtain the court’s permission before he may be permitted to leave the court’s jurisdiction or outside the country
