The market opened with a Capitalisation of N114.660 trillion and closed at N117.027 trillion, while the ASI rose from 178,625.63 at the start of trading to 182,313.08 by the close, reflecting a sustained upward momentum throughout the session.
Market breadth remained positive, with 53 gainers outpacing 33 losers, highlighting investor optimism across a wide range of sectors.
The leading gainers for the day include:
1 CORNERST added 10.00 percent (opened at N5.80 to N6.38).
2 MCNICHOLS recorded a percentage gain of 10.00 percent (from N7.00 to N7.70).
3 NESTLE moved up by 10.00 percent (N2,420.00 to N2,662.00).
4 UNIONDICON gained a total of 10.00 percent (N19.00 to N20.90).
5 INFINITY 10.00 percent (climbed higher from N9.00 to N9.90).
On the flip side, the top laggards were:
1 SKYAVN -10.00 percent decline (N150.00 to N135.00).
2 GUINNESS -9.97 percent dip (from N349.90 to N315.00).
3 OMATEK -9.39 percent (from N3.30 to N2.99).
4 NPFMCRFBK -6.51 percent (N5.99 to N5.60).
5 ETRANZACT -6.33 percent drop (opened at N24.50 and closed at N22.95).
Stocks that closed flat include Dangote Cement, Julius Berger, DN Tyre and Rubber, Golden Guinea Brewery, BUA Foods, Honeywell Flour Mill, and Nigerian Enamelware among others.
