April 08, (THEWILL) — Eterna Plc has reported a strong financial performance for the year ended December 31, 2025, with a significant rise in profitability and a more robust balance sheet position.

The company posted revenue of ₦302.37bn, while profit before tax climbed to ₦7.27bn, marking a 52.9 percent year-on-year increase from ₦4.48bn recorded in 2024. Profit after tax stood at ₦2.92bn, translating to earnings per share of ₦2.24.

Eterna’s financial standing also improved the period, with total assets rising to ₦92.19bn, largely driven by increased inventory levels. Shareholders’ funds grew to ₦7.77bn, supported by retained earnings and overall balance sheet strengthening.

The performance underscores the company’s strategic focus on operational efficiency and disciplined cost management, alongside sustained positioning across its fuels, lubricants, and gas segments. These efforts have continued to bolster margins and enhance overall business resilience amid a dynamic operating environment.

In line with its commitment to delivering shareholder value, the Board of Directors has proposed a dividend of ₦0.50 per share for the 2025 financial year. The proposed payout remains subject to approval at the company’s forthcoming Annual General Meeting.
