December 19, (THEWILL) – A former Commissioner of Health in Nasarawa State, Bawa Ahmed Abimiku, is dead.
A family source, who confirmed the sad development, said Abimiku died in the early hours of Tuesday, December 19, at the Federal Medical Centre in Keffi.
Abimiku played a crucial role in the health sector, serving as Commissioner during the administration of the late Alhaji (Dr) Aliyu Akwe Doma.
Abimiku’s burial ceremony is scheduled for 2 pm at the Abuja Central Mosque, FCT
Until his death, he also held the traditional title of Durbin Eggon.
