June 27, (THEWILL) – Barring any last minute manoeuvres, the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC will announce appointments into key positions as part of a semi-rejig of the operations of the organization, multiple authoritative sources with knowledge of the development confirmed to THEWILL Sunday.
The new appointments will be into executive management as well as in the Upstream and Downstream sectors of the state-run oil giant, according to the sources.
The announcement is imminent, THEWILL checks further revealed. “It could happen as early as Monday,” one of the sources said, asking not to be identified.
The changes will include the appointment of a new Chief Operations Officer, Downstream, to fill the vacancy in that position.
