BEVERLY HILLS, November 18, (THEWILL) – The Federal Executive Council (FEC) failed to hold its weekly meeting at the Presidential Villa. It held its inaugural meeting last week Wednesday, after the cabinet members took their oath of office.

No excuse was given for the postponement of the meeting, it was however gathered that the meeting had originally been scheduled to hold, but had to be cancelled late Tuesday night.

The meeting, a traditional engagement since the return to democracy in 1999, is held weekly except at a few instances that it was shifted at the instances of the President.

The administration of President Muhammadu Buhari has also not confirmed if it would maintain status quo or change the day of the meeting and how frequent it should hold each month.
