
September 29, (THEWILL) – Member of the House of Representatives for Kwande/Ushongo Federal Constituency, Mr Terseer Ugbor, has thrown his support behind President Ahmed Bola Tinubu’s quest to run an inclusive administration, where all stakeholders in the Nigeria project will contribute their ideas on how best to drive a peaceful and united country.
The APC Lawmaker, also acknowledged the steps taken by president Tinubu by the release of palliative funds to state governments, to cushion the effects of the removal of subsidy.
In statement in Makurdi on Friday, the Legislative Aide to the Lawmaker, Mr Emmanuel Ikyoga, therefore, appealed to the constituents to give maximum cooperation so as to enjoy dividends of democracy.
According to him, within the short time in office, Ugbor has organised a legislative summit on students loan, engage in public debate on issues and made far reaching recommendations to the Students Loan Act already signed into law by president Tinubu.
The statement added that the Federal Lawmaker also constructed an ultra-modern office at Adikpo town to serve as a rallying point towards attending to the needs and plights of his constituents.
“Honorable Ugbor has earmarked some projects like electricity, water and health facilities across the Constituency. This is in addition to construction of toilets at all major markets in the area.”
“Like president Tinubu, Honorable Terseer Ugbor also initiatiated several empowerment schemes to improve on the lives of his people. He will continue to work in partnership with the security agencies and stakeholders to tackle security challenges in the Constituency.”
The statement urged people to be patient and prayerful for the lawmaker to deliver on the mandate in the course of duty.
