
SAN FRANCISCO, December 16, (THEWILL) – A member of the Borno Youth Vigilante group also known as Civilian JTF was killed, Wednesday, along with four female suicide bombers who rocked a Civilian JTF checkpoint in Mafa, Borno State .
Apparently targeting the youth vigilante members on their deadly mission, the bombers were said to have blown themselves up immediately they got to the checkpoint, killing a member of the group immediately while five others were injured.
Confirming the incident, the spokesman of the National Emergency Management Authority (NEMA) in the Northeast, AbdulKadir Ibrahim, said: “There was suicide bombing attacks at Mafa check point in the early hours of today 16 December, 2015 by four female suicide bombers.
“They targeted the civilian JTF stationed at the check point. Five of the civilian JTF were injured, one died and the four suicide bombers were all dead.”
