SAN FRANCISCO, October 09, (THEWILL) – Minister of Solid Minerals and Steel Development, Samson Uche Oga has advised miners to form themselves into a cooperative to benefit from the five billion naira set aside by the Federal Government to develop the mining industry.
The minister made this known during an interactive session with artisan miners in Sokoto State.
Oga explained that “cooperatives will make it easier for the government to help miners maximise the benefits in the sector.”
He reiterated President Buhari’s sincere commitment to the development of the mining industry.
