August 16, (THEWILL) – First Lady, Sen. Remi Bola Tinubu, on Wednesday, received former First Lady, Mrs Patience Jonathan, at the state House, Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Mrs Jonathan was Nigeria’s First Lady between 2010 and May 29, 2015, when her husband, Goodluck Jonathan, was President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Speaking with State House correspondents, the former First Lady described the visit as a solidarity to assure Mrs Tinubu of her support.
She assured Nigerian women that First Lady Remi Tinubu will carry all women along and ensure a time of ‘Renewed Hope’.
Mrs Jonathan is the first former First Lady to visit Senator Tinubu since the inauguration of President Bola Tinubu on May 29, 2023.
