April 26, (THEWILL) – Nollywood actor Gideon Okeke shared details about life after divorce in a lengthy cryptic message.
The actor took to his Instagram story to share what some men go through after leaving their marriages based on his own experience.
According to him, a lot of men are suffering as a result of failed marriages and their children have become victims of such circumstances. He noted that he has received messages about it and has questions to ask single mothers.
The actor questioned single mothers to know why they use their children to punish their former husbands.
He advised them to treat the father of their children as a human being and not just another source of money.
He stressed the importance of children having their fathers in their lives even though their parents might be separated.
“It is on the announcement of my separation/divorce that I realised that so many men are going through and enduring a litany of ills as an offshoot of a failed marriage, leaving the kids in tow, as victims.
“My DM has messages to boot. But, I need to ask, what therapy is reserved or advised for men who find themselves backed up in this corner.
“Kids are definitely a mumu button to the man who has not abandoned his kids and his responsibility.
“Dear single mothers, you didn’t pluck those kids from the tree. You didn’t buy them off the shelves from shoprite.
“Why you come dey use this same gift dey punish another man”
