July 05, (THEWILL) – The Leadership of a Pan-Yoruba Group, The Omoluabi Coalition Group, has called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the need to appreciate all those that worked tirelessly for his emergence as the Country’s President, saying one of such fellow is Aare Oladotun Hassan.
The Group has, therefore, called on President Tinubu to include Hassan in his cabinet as a Minister.
The Group, in a release issued Wednesday and signed by its Director General, Mr Tunji Balogun, copy of which was made available to the media, said Aare Oladotun Hassan, who is a lawyer, is also the Global President, Yoruba Council Worldwide and “who in all the thick and thin of the last elections and continuously till date, stand firm to fight against all manners of attacks attempted at bringing down President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”
It said to whom much is given, much is expected, “it is noteworthy that Aare Oladotun Hassan championed and risked all firestorms to face the Afenifere Group, led by Pa. Ayo Adebanjo, to stamp Yoruba Council Worldwide endorsement of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Presidential mandate and he has continued to remain undeterred and unshaken despite the huge challenges he is facing.
Omoluabi Coalition Group further said in the release, “Similarly, it is noteworthy that during the quest of Peter Obi and Chinedu Rhodes Vivour-led Labour Party’s bid to overrun Lagos State through evil scripted machinations of Lagos is ‘A No Man’s Land,’ he mobilised supports for the re-election of Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu.
“We are witness of the North and Southern Parley organised in Abuja by Aare Oladotun Hassan, most surprisingly is that all these efforts were self funded.
“Based on this premise, we appeal to all well meaning Nigerians irrespective of ethnic background to support our clarion call and speak up for inclusiveness of Yoruba Council’ Versatile, competent, proactive and reliable nominee – Aare Barr. Oladotun Hassan for ministerial appointment. He deserves it and that best represents our interest in President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Government.
“He is a brilliant lawyer, Secretary, Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Epe Branch in Lagos, Secretary General, Nigeria Ethnic Nationalities Youth Leaders Council; Nationalities, Human right crusader, and an advocate for equitable justice, rule of law and good governance. He commands huge respect from Nigerian youths for his exemplary leadership qualities.”
