October 18, (THEWILL) – Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted the wife and two children of the lawmaker representing Ipaiye/Malete/Olooru constituency in the Kwara State House of Assembly, Lawal Solihu.
The victims were kidnapped on Monday, by heavily armed men who attacked their residence in Moro Local Government Area of the State at about 1am.
“The whereabouts of the victims remain unknown as I speak with you. But one of the kidnappers who contacted the family said he was not yet with his colleagues in the forest to harmonise their price,” a source familiar with the development told newsmen.
Spokesperson of the State Police Command, Okasanmi Ajayi, confirmed the incident.
