January 17, (THEWILL) -Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted HRH Da Gyang Balak Gut, the Da Gwom Rwei of Vwang District of Jos-south Local Government Area of Plateau State.
THEWILL gathered that the Paramount Ruler was kidnapped on Sunday night on his way home to Vom, few metres from the Gate of the National Institute For Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru in Jos.
Spokesperson for the Plateau Police Command ASP Gabriel Ubah, Confirmed the incident.
Vwang District is where the famous National Veterinary Research Institute (NVRI), Vom, is situated in Plateau State.
The latest incident came barely a month after the abduction of another traditional ruler in Plateau State, HRH Charles Dakat, the Paramount Ruler of Gindiri, in Mangu Local Government Area.
