SAN FRANCISCO, November 04, (THEWILL) – Unknown gunmen on Tuesday night, killed a pregnant woman at Rigachikun, a suburb of Kaduna metropolis.
THEWILL gathered that the woman and her husband were abducted and taken away from their residence.
“The gunmen stormed the house of the victims and went away with them, then security operatives chased them. In the process of fire exchange, the gunmen shot the woman. she later died in the hospital.
“The woman was pregnant and about to give birth before the ugly incident. She has already been buried according to Islamic rites”, a source said.
Details of the incident were still sketchy as at the time of filing this report. The State Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Muhammad Jalige was yet to respond to inquiries about the incident.
