April 07, (THEWILL) – A retired Immigration Officer, Jacob Agada, has been killed by suspected gunmen in Lafia, Nasarawa State.
A family friend of the deceased said Agada was killed on Thursday night by gunmen, who abducted him around Agaya hotels, in Ombi 2, Lafia, while returning to his house at about 9pm.
Spokesperson of the State Police Command, DSP Ramhan Nansel, who confirmed the incident, said Agada’s lifeless body was recovered around the area he was abducted.
THEWILL earlier reported that gunmen, on Thursday night, abducted Professor Onje Gye-Wado, a former Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State.
