May 15, (THEWILL) – Nigerian chef, Hilda Effiong Bassey, aka Hilda Baci, has completed 100 hours of her cookathon.
Hilda Baci started her marathon cooking challenge on May 11, at the Amore Gardens.
As at 11:22 am on Monday, she had cooked for 91 hours and 21 minutes, to surpass the previous record set by an Indian chef, Lata Tondon, in 2019, the previous title holder, who cooked for 87 hours, 45 minutes, and 00 secs.
However, she promised to continue till the challenge clocked 100 hours, which ended at 8:22 pm on Monday.
