SAN FRANCISCO, December 03, (THEWILL) – Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar has announced his return to the Peoples Democratic Party.
Atiku made this known in Sunday via a live video on facebook.
He had received leaders from the North East PDP earlier before making the announcement of his return on Facebook.
Atiku recalled his years as Vice President and how he helped make the PDP but left four years ago for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He stated that the APC had failed in bringing the change it promised in its manifesto which led to his resignation.
Atiku declared that he was glad to see the PDP return to its roots as he announced that he was returning to the party.
THEWILL had reported that Atiku had perfected plans to return to the PDP before the party’s convention scheduled for December 9.
