May 25, (THEWILL) – Reality show star, Maria Chike Benjamin, has opened up on allegations of snatching another woman’s husband.
In an interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, Benjamin revealed she never knew her boyfriend, Kevin, was married before they started dating.
Last year, Pascal Okechukwu, also known as Cubana Chief Priest, had called out Benjamin for wrecking his sister, Maryanne Anene’s marriage.
He revealed that Kelvin, his sister’s husband, sponsored Benjamin’s participation in the Big Brother Naija reality show.
The celebrity barman also added that Benjamin sent threat messages to his sister.
However, while speaking with Jideonwo, Benjamin made it known that she didn’t destroy Kelvin’s marriage and vowed to stand by her words.
According to her, she is not a home wrecker and would never be one.
“I actually wasn’t aware whether or not he was married when we first started dating. What I am going to stand by and the gospel truth is that I didn’t destroy any marriage. I have never and would never”, she stated.
